Pain discomfort after surgery...please help!

I had my gallbladder out last Friday (5 days ago). I felt ok for the first couple of days but the last two days I've had a lot of discomfort and some nausea. It feels like someone is grabbing my stomach and insides and squeezing...a lot of pressure and pain, especially near the ribcage area. I didn't have this in the beginning and I'm worried that it's not going to go away. Anyone else have this happen post-op? It is not gas...just more of a general tightness/cramping feeling all around my insides and in my back. Will this go away? Any advice on what I can do to make it better?
Thanks for listening! Posted on 11/04/09, 04:11 pm |
