Surgery scheduled for Friday...very nervous!

I am finally scheduled to have surgery to remove my gallbladder this coming Friday after a year of attacks and being very, very ill. My doctors finally determined that it has to be my gallbladder causing my issues. I am very nervous about the surgery and the recovery time. What was the worst part of the surgery and/or recovery? Any advice? Also, how long before I will feel well enough to be up and about. Surgery is going to be laproscopic. Thank you for your input!
