I HAVE HAD A LOT OF PAIN IN MY GALLBLADDER. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THEY THINK I WILL GET GALLSTONES OR NOT. THE DOC. HAS PUT ME ON MEDS. FOR A SHORT TIME. THE PAIN FEELS LIKE SOMEBODY IS CUTTING ME IN 1/2. THANKS ROBERT

It probably is gallstones.Is the Dr sending you for a scan?

This may sound strange but it may not be functioning correctly. This can cause pain just like the gallstones. I had a ton of tests taken (this was over ten years ago so idk the exact tests I just know that it was over a period of months and I was sent to several specialists.) The last test that finally showed it was a test that they looked at my gallbladder as I was given a shot of something that similates eating a fatty meal. In mine my gallbladder never emptied completely which cause lots and lots of pain. wish I knew the name of the test sorry.

Maybe a pipida scan. They inject you with radioactive dye and then they inject you with something that simulates a greasy meal to watch the gall bladder work.
