Hi Everyone, I am getting mine out on Monday, I sure hope it all goes well, I hope I dont have any pain or discomfort.
I am supposed to be there at six forty five for a chest xray, then right to surgery. They told me they would not know if I will come home that day until they get in there, I have read that walking around really helps the pain from the gas and the surgery so I plan on laying down as little as possible. I will update you all when I get home, they said if they have to do it the old fashioned way, they will keep me three or four days. Thanks Kezzy, it was so easy, didnt hurt, a little gas but I have had worse headaches, it was nothing. I cant beleive it doesnt hurt at all. It was nothing to be afraid of, I was up walking within an hour of the surgery, I have been fine ever since. I have been walking around and taking care of things, then rest a bit. I already feel so much better, it is hard to believe I had surgery less than a day ago... amazing DR and staff. I didnt even need any pain meds when I woke up, it felt like I did too many ab crunches... even though I havent done those in way too long. good to have it done and behind me.
Dont worry about this surgery, it was a peice of cake
