After three various cancellations since Dec, my gall bladder and I are finally separated... Last Thursday 10 AM as I was in the operating room talking with my surgeon just before he
...woke up and it was done!!!Nurse in the recovery room has a funny face, or is it me having hallucinations?
Back in the room at 3PM and the transfer from the gurney to the bed, THAT was painful, one of them did not read the how to book.
I have read about the various horror stories here and so far the only real pain I have had "SO FAR" is the abdominal muscles, slowly I am regaining flexibility and mobility, not saying that I'm ready to lift and run but it's coming slowly, I'm in no rush.
Thursday I remove my stiches, the following week I see my Hematologist in for a follow up and in three week from now I have my follow up with my surgeon. Being sick is a fulltime job, who needs to work??
Yes Mel, I'm wearing my Fugly!!!
:)

" A suggestion, eat prunes if you are on narcotics, you won't regret it.
Since yesterday I only take 2mg of the diluted morphine at night, nothing during the days, I have been doing a lot of walking. I found out that staying in bed is bad, the getting out is always hard to do, so stay out...
