over the past 5 years I have had 4-5 "attacks" of what a friend thinks to be gallbaldder.....a few of the symptoms seem to match my moms....before she had her gallbladder removed.....on my right side under my breast, near the end of my ribcage ...all the way to my back feels like that part of my body is in a vice and is getting tighter......pain is mildly discomfort to moderate......recently (like in the past 3 weeks) I have been feeling really bad ..in the last year I have had dirraha alot!!!! and just all of a sudden I will get nauseated.....as if I am going to throw up but so far I havent...but this happens almost every night......then the pain will start back up lasting from 15 mins to 5 hrs sometimes it is barely there but the 5 hour nite the pain was severe...I almost went to the ER...about the time I decided to go the pain started letting up so I didnt......I did go see a gastro Dr back in Nov and he said because of the dirreah I have IBS, some symptoms match this but the meds will work for a few days then it wont so he said take 2 pills a day and that just makes me constipated!!! it is like he didnt listen to my symptoms at all........does this match any of your symptoms?? should I go see him again or wait until another attack and go to the ER?

go back to the doctors. try to see a different doctor or even a nurse practioner. tell them to give u a ct scan or ultrasound. also tell them about ur attacks. i have had the same problems in the top part of my stomach. it is very severe. u don't want to wait too long. u can get an infection. i had multiple stones and inflammation. the doctors were amazed that i made it this long. they could save my bladder though and i had to get it removed. see someone right away. make them listen to you.
