" Today is the day before the operation, and I am supposed to get a call from the doctor or a nurse telling me about what everything to expect... what I can't eat or drink etc. I don't know at all! And they haven't called me yet. I'm a little angry because it looks unprofessional. If they don't call within the next 1-2 hours, I will call them and complain. :(

I'm nervous about tomorrow! I should come in at 9AM for talks with the dr. and to get blood tests and EKG done etc.. And at 1PM I will have the operation. They told me before that I should stay 1-2 days in the hospital, but others I've read about online said they left again a few hours after the operation! I want to know how long my recovery time is so that I can continue my working-out plan! "

" The doctor called me yesterday(sunday) and told me that I cannot eat or drink anything after midnight.. that's all. But of course I didn't drink alcohol either nor did I smoke.. like I usually would have done on a saturday evening.

Now I will get ready and then head for the clinic where they will do tests and then I will go get the operation.

Will keep posting on my experience! :)

Thanks Kezzy for your support! "

" So on the day of my operation (monday), I came in a few hours earlier because they had to make a few blood tests and check my heart and lungs etc.

When I came into the operation room, the doctor talked to me a little.. told me to relax that everything will be fine, and then I saw a nurse inject me the the general anesthesia and then I was knocked out!

I woke up feeling alright. My stomach was a bit sore but not half as bad as I thought it would hurt.

The second and third day I was making a lot of progress. The doctor was happy at the speed of the healing. Only issue was that I got blisters under the bandages because i was allergic to them. But he just took the bandages off and gave me other ones that i wouldnt be allergic to.

The only real pain that I had so far was my right shoulder. The doctor said its because the air that was pumped into my stomach came to my shoulder.. Thats why i neede the painkillers. My stomach doesnt hurt much at all!

I have another day and a half here at the hospital. I will write more tomorrow. "

" I had the keyhole surgery.

I was allowed to go home on thursday, and on friday evening i got really nauseaus that i had to throw up!

The good thing is the pain is getting less and less, but the nausea that night was so bad!

Monday I have a follow-up with the dr. and he will take a look if everythings the way its supposed to be. "
