Hi, I had gerd for years, then Dr sent me for G/s opp. now I do not get the acid reflux and hope I never get it back. Can anyone tell me why G?S give you heartburn. I have not been able to find out. PLEASE HELP.

I have GERD but I have a hiatal hernia that Kaiser Permanente doesn't want to operate on, nor did my private physician.

You probably are having trouble digesting fats after gallbladder surgery. With out the right amount of bile it could be tough to get the job done. You could take a multiple enzyme but beware of the possible bowel effects...your body will adjust.
