My doctor thinks I have a gall bladder problem and I had a sonogram done and am waiting for the results. I have been having pain in my right ribcage area and diarrhea the last two days, does anyone know if diarrhea is normal for this ailment?

" yes it is common.

I was rushed to the hospital on dec. 23 in the middle of the night with a major attack. I was throwing up, diahrea and in severe pain in my back and ribcage.
I had the surgery and I had 41 gallstones !!!!!

Good Luck !!!!!!!!!! "

" Yes, it's normal. I've had the same problem for awhile. I just had a Hida scan and was told it wasn't emptying right. I will know more next week for the final results. I wanting to try meds first to see if it will help. "
