How to overcome fear

View More Posts Ignore
Hi, I have just been diagnosed with multiple small gallstones and today have received a date to see my surgeon and now the fear is starting to kick in. In 1995 I underwent life saving heart surgery and was on a life support machine for a few weeks and underwent quite a few surgical procedures (drains put in and taken out, trachy, full open chest heart op, etc)so you would think that this would be easy for me but beleive me I aint been so scarred in my life. Any ideas would be welcome.

" Are you sure it has to be removed? Is it infected? You would have to decided if a gallbladder flush...homeopathic route. I ate a bunch of kosher dills and passed some non-calcified gallstones. If you are still afraid, keep talking about it until the details are clear and you are satified you have collected enough info to make an informed decision. You could call and discuss it with your doctor...thing is you said you are a fisherman...wouldn't want to have an attack while you are out at sea. HMMM...you have a delimma. "
