OK - so our son has the mild version of galactosemia. They said in 100% of cases like our sons, they outgrow it by 1 year. Yet, they still want me to have him get bloodwork and his eyes checked and go back for a 6 month visit. WASTING my time & money. I don't mind going back in one year for the challenge to confirm the...what was it they said?...100% rate of wellness? But anyway, I hate going to the Dr.'s because it's an all day wait through the glorious state.
