I had an endoscopy and a CT scan recently...and nothing was wrong. That's good I guess. I was hoping something was wrong, so we could fix it and I wouldn't have to have burning attacks any more. My doctor prescribe Kapadex. I'm suppose to be on it for a month and then go back and see him.
Are there other tests? How can a person burn so bad and nothing be wrong? I wish there was a test you could do at the time of the attack. Bet they could see something then. I know laxatives trigger the attacks, but I don't think they are the cause. Maybe years of an Eating Disorder caused all this. If it did, wouldn't they be able to see that? The burning stomach and back pain hurts so bad that at times I just feel like taking my own life, just to rid the pain. Posted on 10/19/09, 02:10 am |
