I have such a bad phobia of meds that I can't make myself take the meds the doctor wants me to. I have the hoarseness, reflux's, chest pain and throat pain. I don't eat well any more but have gone back up to 100 from about 96-lbs. How do you guys do it I'm scard. I only go to the bathroom once a week so when I do start eating then I end up with bad stomach pain for a day or so. They talk about doing another scope but haven't yet and I have going thru this for almost a yr now.
I have a phobia of food due to this to thinking about the pain I guess. What type of foods do you guys eat and how did you make your self start meds? Diane Posted on 10/10/09, 10:10 am |

Sorry you arent doing well. I have to lose weight, I end up eating alot of starches to avoid heartburn and reflux but trying to change to cooked veggies and the few fruits, bananas and cantaloupe that do not give me heartburn, I really have to watch everything I eat, sometimes anything kicks it in,
I take aciphex everyday but also know that taking Gaviscon or Tums just right before you eat, helps alot also. Hope you are doing better,.
