So I went to the Dr. and of course he said I have acid reflux. So he gave me Omeprazole, 20 mg, twice a day. I am on the start of day 5, and some improvements here or there, still some burping and occasional burn now and then.
I have started changing my diet. Already cut out quite a bit. Working on reducing the stress too, but that seems to be the harder part. I would assume this is a medicine I need to give a little while to really kick in??? Posted on 06/29/09, 09:06 am |

Another strange question, is there any chance there is a difference in omeprazole's? I started taking the Walmart version and thought I was feeling a bit better. But yesterday I started taking the prescription omeprazole and the heartburn has kicked back in.
Might be crazy, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

Hey, you never know if someone formula is a bit different--maybe buy some more of the Walmart one that worked and try it again to see if you notice a difference??
