Just got prescribed 40mg Zegerid a day by my doctor, after Aciphex and Prilosec didn't work.

Has anyone ever tried this medicine!?
Anyone got symptom relief or anything?

" I was on it for a month. I didn't like it. My biggest symptom was nausea and it didn't make it go away. I didn't see much difference. But everyone's different. "

" I was on Aciphex for 10 months, then it decided to stop working. Then my dr put me on Prilosec, no real difference-not worse, but not better. Last Monday, I saw my dr again, and they put me on Zegerid. I've been taking it since Tuesday, and so far it seems to help, but not significantly. I'm having another endoscopy Monday because my dr suspects I may have another ulcer. He's also going to check me for H. Pylori and Celiac Sprue.
Keep us posted on your experience with Zegerid and good luck! "

" I can't take it b/c it caused bad stomach pain, nausea, and chest pains. I switched to 20 mg in Prilosec. I am taking alot of meds and Zegerid is the worst. "

" I have taken Zegerid for the past several months (for stomach erosion). It did seem to help somewhat; however, after a while , i felt like it made me feel "reved up"; and so , i am now on Nexium. I would like to get off all meds altogether. I also have GERD and a hiatial hernia . alot of the time i find i am nauseated.... "
