Vitamin C

A few weeks back I was having almost constant heartburn, 24/7. I'd started taking a vitamin C supplement with my breakfast as I'm not a great fan of citrus fruit. I visited the GP who gave me tablets that only worked as long as I took them. Well, it's turned out that the tablets were the tigger. Those were non-soluble ones so I've just bought some chewable ones to see if they're any better. Has anyone else experienced this?

" To be honest I couldn't tell you. I've switched to chewable ones now though and they seem to be ok. "

" Vitamin C is hard on my stomach in general. Vitamin C is included in things other than fruits, its even in vegetables, some drinks, certain granola bars, etc. You could try consuming different products that contain vitamin C and try to get some what near the total content in the vitamin C pill or do a half-half scenario. I seem to feel better when there is a balance between medicine and food. "

" For anyone that suffers from acid reflux, gerd, or barrett's esophagus, I highly recommend that you get vitamin c that is made by Ester-C and is 500mg per tablet. The best part of this pill is that it is a non-acidic and is stomach friendly. I hope this helps. "
