i was wondering if anyone here has noticed hairloss from the ppi or hair thinning mine is down to half of what it was even tho i been on B12 shots for 3 months and im takin Biotin ....i wouldnt really pay it to much mind but im already stuck with super thin hair and now its like down to where u can count it ......

OMG, is that why my hair has been thinning? Would have never suspected the PPI's. Maybe it's because of the lack of some of the nutrient absorption with PPI's I have been reading about..... makes sense.

yeah i know mine is so thin u can see my scalp clearly in the back ....i did read that a few PPI's can cause hairloss or thinning or if the stomach acid is to low which has the same symptoms as the high stomach acid ....i know my B12 has been low but i been getting shots for 3 months now and i been takin Biotin 5000mcg a day i m about to double that, not that it brings the hair back i lost but at this point i be happy, if what ever hair is left would stay on my head .:)....hopefully it will grow back in fast...

Hi dagmar Im sorry your hair is thinning. Mines always been thin but so far the same. I have a bad rash on my back and I don,t know if thats medicines or not. I don,t know if its spots or eczema I have some cream from the docs but Im a bit scared as Im on enough meds. They are not helping either as my stomach has really flared up again. I hope you feel better soon and your hair improves.
