Hello everyone,
I am new to the group and I was diagnosed with GERD by my doc. I have the feeling of dust in my throat is this a symptom of gerd ? it makes me cough alot.

" Yes, many of us have throat issues because of GERD. It can cause all kinds of weird feelings, from what you are describing, to a lump in the throat, to very bad pain and spasms. Gerd can also affect your breathing and aggravate asthma or COPD, or just make you cough.

So you will need to follow the diet, raise the head of your bed, and take whatever meds the doctor prescribes. Together those 3 things should help a lot.
