For my self, I can't take any ginger or mint. They always make my stomach worse. You need to be avoiding those, plus tomatoes, onions, citrus fruits and juices, chocolate, caffeine in all forms, alcohol, and of course fried or fatty foods. It can be a tricky diet to do, but with a little thought you should be able to do it. I order my pizza without tomato sauce. It's actually good that way!
Since you've been on that drug for so long and you're still feeling so bad, you may need a change in meds. Check with your doctor. And the last thing to mention is to raise the head of your bed. Put blocks under the legs, or buy the special wedge pillow at a medical supply store. It will make the biggest difference of all. Are you seeing a gastroenterologist? You should be. Good luck, and let us know how you are doing. Hugs, Sue
