Thining of hair is not a symptom in fructose malabsorption, hard to say about abnormal period, by other symptoms you've listed, fit in.
General rule about diet is avoiding fructose, sorbitol and other polyils, and (only if necessary, fructans, which are in wheat, onion etc.) For detail, see http://dailystrength.org/c/Fructos...

About the thinning hair. I currently have diagnosed fructose intolerance, lactose intolerance and gluten sensitivity. Since I started on a fructose restricted diet first, my hypothyroidism improved and the dr reduced my medication because my thyroid was working better with less fructose. My symptoms were thinning hair and a huge appetite. Once my medication was adjusted my symptoms subsided. Now I've started going gluten free (diagnosed last) and within 3 weeks of going gluten free I notice my hair is starting to come out again, not quite in handfuls like last time, but I will be calling the Dr. soon to see if I can get my thyroid re-checked. Just a suggestion, has your thyroid been checked?
