Discussion:
Seeking information on FX

Hi, my son has many of the learning disability symptoms of FX, however, he doesn't portray any of the physical characterstics, but from what I read many of those characterstics don't occur until puberty. My son is only 7 currently, he's always been on the big side, tall and heavy for his age, however, we have noticed that he has grown much since last November.

I am hoping that some of you could help me by sharing some of the symptoms or characteristics that led you to think your child(ren) have FX.

Thank You

" There is an International Fragile X conference in Miami July 25 - 29th

They will be giving all kinds of workshops and information.

If anyone can get there I am sure they will have loads of answers and heaps of networking.

My nephew has the physical characteristics of FX and he has had them since he was 2. Not all people get the whole list of things on FX.

For my nephew one thing was that he had a huge willy and testicles and this is apparently one big clue.
There are many other clues but your son may not have those things "
