I am being told that I need a plan in case something happens to my husband and my self for my son. I am not sure how to plan. The advice that I have found from some people in the know states that the first step is to determine the prognosis for my son. How do I do that? It seems like he could go in a number of directions. I feel like given the right support and a proper education as well as environment he could be independent. He met most of his Kindergarten standards of learning last year. He seems to be right on target in many areas, mildly delayed in some areas, and moderately delayed in other areas. I am just not sure what this means about how he can function as an adult. Please help!
