I am so glad things are going better for you. You are the only one that controls your own future. Foster care and group homes are just a fact of your life, but don't let it be what defines you. If you really want something and work hard, you can do anything you set your mind to. I did not grow up in foster care but had a very rough childhood. Somehow, I always had hope and always knew that I could do whatever I wanted. It was not easy, but it was worth it. I am SO blessed now in so many ways and can't regret a thing. I am happily married, own my home (well the bank owns it until I pay the mortgage off, LOL.) Have a good job, a nice car, a big fuzzy dog. Have no complaints. I worked hard to get where I am. We even enjoy going on family vacations and have had some wonderful opportunities to travel. I am living my dreams now. You can too!
Sounds like you are on the right track! Keep up the great work! Stay focused and positive! Don't ever give up on yourself or your dreams!
