Hi everyone
My son is allergic to peanuts, found out when he was 3, he is 8 now... Used to live in the US, now in Brazil. Had to adapt all over again, been here for 2 years now... just wanted to join, exchange info and keep updated on things... thanks... Posted on 11/02/09, 03:11 pm |

I'm allergic to peanuts (& Brazil nuts) - younger d. ditto with cashews, & g'son also has peanut allergies - but his No.1 Problem is cashews - he goes into anaphalactic shock, so has to keep an epipen at school, in case some child touches him with peanut paste on their hands. It gets pretty tough. Some cities have banned peanuts from school lunches in Australia. JaneD.

Hi Jane, my son also carries the Epi just in case and his school is good at taking precautions but peanut allergies are not common here, like milk and seafood... It is tough, only one kind of chocolate is safe for him here, so I import from the US...
