I just found out through blood work from an Allergist that my 1yr old son is allergic to Milk, Soy, Peanuts and Bermuda Grass he is currently on Nutramigen formula and was wandering what can he have?I would love to get him off the formula. I went and got some rice milk, and coconut milk a few hrs ago but want to know if that is going to be good for him to drink. He gets baby food still and also some solid foods, he is very picky and hasn't got any teeth also. Any help would be great. Thanks

My son has multiple allergies too. I'd keep your little one on the formula. Coconut milk and rice milk just don't have enough nutrients in them, particularly the rice milk. My son is 3 1/2 and still on formula and probably will stay on it for a year or so more. I know people think its strange, but its on prescription, and its really what he needs to keep him safe from allergens and to keep him growing.
I'd google allergy free recipes. The best bet is for you to make food at home from basic ingredients, when buying packaged food you can never be sure... and a lot of the safe stuff that you find in the health food section is not cheap at all... Best of luck with it. KC
