im new to group...yesterday i had an all over body reaction to something
it started with a weird pain in my hands that became itchy , intensely itchy also my eyes then all over my body, i was drawing blood scratching all over..then this turned into severe white raised bumps all over my body i was intensely scratching all over it was horrific. i was told to go to chemist by nurse and get anti histamines and used a cream too...eventually it cleared up after 2hours. i had 2 glasses of wine before hand and i know some contain alot of histamine..im wondering if this triggered it. also i have an allergy to cats..we have moved house and had to take on a cat....we have been here 4months..could i have reached my tolerance to the cat maybe??? any info would be greatly appreciated thanks mandie Posted on 08/23/09, 01:08 pm |

It sounds like you are reacting to the Wine.
There could be any number of things in the wine. Find out what they are. You are lucky that it cleared up in 2 hours. If you were allergic to the cat, you would have known a lot sooner. How did you last reaction to a cat manifest? Usually with any allergy you will react the same way each time.
