for the past i'd say 5 years i've had stomach problems. for the first years of my life it was normal for me to have 1 bowel movement a week if that. as i became an adult i started to have bad stomach problems. i may have 1 day a month when i feel absolutely ok. all other days my stomach is always upset. it has been really severe the last 6-8 months. my life revolves around it, i cant travel b/c i am always in fear of my stomach acting up on me. i was recently tested for celiac disease b/c i had been having severe diarrhea no matter what it ate, it was negative. i have gerd, hiatal hernia, but thats all the doc found after a few blood tests, & biopsy, & scope test. i have lost 35 lbs b/c of so many bowel movements, my body doesnt absorb any nuturients. i am always tired b/c i dont get the nutrition i need, i am afraid to eat most of the time. i am sick of white rice & potatoes!!! i am on a new health eating kick & exercising everyday b/c i do want to loose weight & be / look healthier i jus didnt want to loose the weight by being sick. i do feel better on a gluten free diet. i was put on a med b/c i was told may be it was my nerves but it didnt help at all after a month so i stopped taking it. so as of right now its up in the air, maybe ibs or allergy?? im tired of docs thinking its something & when its found its not what they thought its like ohh well come back in 4 months for follow up...like?? wth?? that doesnt help me!! note: my 2 year old has same symptoms & docs say its normal b/c his system is working out kinks...any suggestions??!!

Things can take time to heal. It doesnt happen overnight. Keep working with your doctor on the allergy stuff. Try doing the 4 day rotation diet. I found out that I am allergic to wheat several months ago sure I feel better now, but I stlll have issues. Healing takes time. You have to also boost your immune system by taking more vitamin c. I just went up to 500mg.

My Mom has Celiac, when she was really bad she had to remove not only the Gluten but also milk products. After many years she was able to add the milk products back. Of course she still can't have Gluten or Whey. You should get allergy testing too.

i am still having problems w/nausea/vomit/diarrhea/pains/all over body aching when i eat things w/gluten, (even tho celiac test was neg), i still have been getting sick at times when i swear i stay away from gluten. My Doc has told me it is still possible to have false neg/or maybe i dont have disease, but still have allergy. Now my GI doc is looking into gallbladder /pancreatitis issues, i'm so frustrated w/whole belly issue thing, it literally runs my life. i am trying to take vitamins to help keep up my energy since i rarely eat, its difficult finding things that dont make me ill!!!!

First of all OPENUP1, stay away from white rice. super inflammatory and not good for you. brown rice or quionoa. Ive had tummy issues latley too which I totally thought I was gluten free but come to find out just sensitive to whole wheat. So I eat spelt occasionally. I did a food allergy test through a naturalpath who will give you tons of ideas and ways to heal your gut that a traditional doctor just does not know. I took the allergy test and found out I had sensitivites to things I never imagined. I am still having problems but going to get some testing done. May have an ulcer, gastritis, or IBS.
