Ok, I need SOMETHING I can do instead of compulsive eating, but nothing else can replace that draw for me unless I choose a worse addiction. As of right now, I exercise daily. It isn't helping. Any ideas???? I DON'T want to start smoking again! Your response just might save my lungs! Although of course, that decision ultimately lies with me. . .:)

" God, I kinda feel like a bad person cuz I was about to suggest those two things as replacements because that what I do...but this might sound corny how about reading or shopping ..yea i know it sounds kinda shallow but it helps me....I guess I really should be saying..I really don't know but if i think of some healthy things to do...I get back to u...sorry i am no help. I saw a therapist, figured out what made me tick, and now I dont over eat like I used too...

its not a decision honey,. its a coping mechanism... smoking is another coping mechanism... "

" let me tell you some thing.... those are good ideas... but they are avoidance tactics... they work for a while...

how about peace? you can be at peace I swear to you. I was over 300 pounds... my eating is mostly under control now. I have times that it isnt, but mostly Im good... Im leatrning all about myself and in recovery...

so think about getting help, getting counseling... "
