Ok, I need SOMETHING I can do instead of compulsive eating, but nothing else can replace that draw for me unless I choose a worse addiction. As of right now, I exercise daily. It isn't helping. Any ideas???? I DON'T want to start smoking again! Your response just might save my lungs! Although of course, that decision ultimately lies with me. . .:)

if you can figure out your emotions then you will crave food less... I knwo from experience I used to weigh 312 pounds...
I saw a therapist, figured out what made me tick, and now I dont over eat like I used too... its not a decision honey,. its a coping mechanism... smoking is another coping mechanism...

Im trying meditation, yoga (just started), reading and eating well. And, I see a counselor once a week. However, these aren't really replacement behaviors. They are my tools in the "Get Better" tool kit.
