Just wondering if anyone else works this program, too? I am coming up on 27 months and it has completely changed my life. Just went to its world convention in Florida last week and what a wonderful experience it was.

I have thought about joining but.... I can not justify NEVER having bread or sweets,don't they make you give all that up?

Doing FAA for 27 months and I have never felt so much freedom in my life.This fellowship s not about deprivation! Food is no longer my god. No I don't eat sugar in any shape and form (fruit is ok). I never ate one piece of bread in my life. I could eat an entire pizza in one sitting. So a long time ago I realized that I was addicted to these. Now since I am not putting the addictive substances in my body I no longer crave more. What seemed a major sacrifice in the beginning no longer seems that way. Believe me going from a size double x large to medium feels far better than any candy bar ever would taste. I am no longer sluggish or depressed. I wake up early with a sense of purpose and full of energy.

Thanks for kind words but I really take very little credit for it. My support walked me through it many times. The food plan I follow is sensible and is designed to keep my blood sugar balanced hence I don't have intense cravings

Just got word that FAA will be doing another phone marathon this Labor Day (September 7) from 6am to midnight. This is in addition to its daily phone meetings. Great source of support

i checked it out, but it seems WAAAY too restrictive. i don;t know if i could stick to such a radical plan.

When I weighed 210 pounds--which is 50 pounds more than I am now---that was restrictive. There were so many things I wouldn't do because I was ashamed of my weight. I have a ton of confidence today. A far better way. Hardly radical to follow a food plan.
