" Have you talked to your doctor about your thoughts? There are groups out there that can help. OA for instance. You are not alone. Many suffer as you suffer and there is hope. I pray that God sends you hope in some form today. You are loved just as you are. "

" Not sure what you know about gastric banding, but for 30 days before the surgery, you have to be on a controlled liquid diet, no solids. Why? Because they want to make sure you do not have an eating disorder and do not binge because if you do binge once the band is in place, it can rupture and you can die. So you need to get your binge eating under control before you could have the surgery. The surgery will help with weight loss, but it will not teach your brain to stop binging.

Do you think you can handle the 30 days of not binging to have the surgery? "

I have had friends who have had more severe surgery and still gained the weight back. But I know others who have been successful "
