" I am sorry you are going through such a difficult time. I understand completely. I suffer with ED too. Congrats on stopping the purging - that is a great first step, DO NOT go back to doing it. Have you seen a therapist to start talking about the root issues as to why you eat, how you can change your habits/ways of coping with life? Have you seen a nutritionist? If not, you should do both. You may also want to check out Overeaters Anonymous - very helpful support group based on the 12 steps. You need to figure out why you are eating destructively in order to be able to stop. Our will power is not enough - our (ED) issues with food truly have nothing to do with the weight. ED people put their self-worth and value in the wrong places. Obviously, this path is not working for you. Step into your fear and find a prefesiional to help you, ok? good luck and hugs!! "
