I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about the benefits of maca root powder on weight. Ive looked all over the web and it seems some bodybuilders add maca root to their protien shakes as a natural muscle builder, and so forth. Ive also read that it is beneficial in naturally balancing a womens harmones and I wonder if this could aid in better weight distribution for me. I dont have a thyroid condition or anything but I have bodyfat on my midsection yet I have virtually NO meat on my legs or behind. I have been adding the powder to my protien shakes for 2 weeks I was just wondering if its true that it can make a harmonal difference and if it will aid in my body storing at least a small degree of fat where women usually naturally store it, (which is where I have none.
