I am currently a size 18..When I started losing weight and trying to get fit I was a size 26. I don't want to be super skinny..Just in better shape. A size 11 would be nice don't you think?

" Wow- sounds like you lost a lot, you should be proud. I'm kind of in the same boat- I don't want to look like a gorgeous supermodel, I just don't want to look fat! "

" Oh I have. I also gained a lot back too sadly! When I first started losing weight two years ago I was doing fantastic. Then I enrolled in school and wasn't able to go as much. Even when I stopped going to school I didn't go. I finally got back into it. I was down to 192 when I first stopped going. I gained obviously. But I have also started losing again too. "

" Yeah I know the feeling. I have changed my eating habits and started working out again. I also have a 10 month old pit mix puppy who requires a lot of exercise so that helps too. "

" I got to my goal weight and stayed there quite awhile, then I slacked off and in the blink of an eye, put 10 pounds back on!
For the past two months or so I have been struggling to get those 10 back off - so far it's been 2 or 3, depending on the day I weigh myself ...lol.
It angers me how you can gain weight so quickly and it takes forever to take it back off! "

" Different things work for different people but the first step is to get a healthy lifestyle. I dont agree with diets and they are so harmful for your body but the zone is a way of life. I had a work out routine for about a year and wasnt losing any weight i did zone for a few months and lost 3 clothing sizes 6% body fat and 20lbs. Its amazing! and I agree with lauraryan sacrifices have to be made. If you are busy then getting up crazy early is a must! I know you can do it!

My brother has dealt with his weight as well, he has tried everything, he even went vegan for a year. But now I see the best results when he joined the biggest loser comp at home. that might be somethign to look into.

Another person I saw get great results was weight watchers. like 10lbs a month or so! but again this is a very strict lifestyle of measuring. so I say zone or biggest loser make meals ahead of time and make sure you get that cardio in!!! Most important!!! "

" I changed my lifestyle via Sparkpeople.com. Really I guess it doesn't matter what program you follow as long as it's healthy, effective, and something you can live with for good. "
