5 min?

Hi everyone, haven't been on this board in ages, and seems like many faces, and hope the 'old' ones are still here and keeping going strong!

I am depressed and my whole body aches at the moment. I know that exercise will help but am in a bit of a difficult situation at the moment (I know we always make excuses).

I just want to know - it is a beautiful day outside - if I go for a 5 minute walk (which will probably turn out to be longer in the end) if it is worth it. I know it will make me feel a tiny bit better, but don't feel it will add anything towards fitness.

I guess I'm just looking for some encouragement. Thanks.

" GO GO GO! You will feel so much better once you have finished your walk. I went for a 50min walk after work last night & walked my stress away and slept so much better for it. Being outside in the sunshine will give you a boost & make you feel a tiny bit happier :) "

" Keep up the good work. I know it's hard to walk and exercise by yourself, but it's a good time to think things out and you will feel so much better. You will feel so much better and just keep going and going and going..enjoy your day.. "

" Go for it! Five minutes of exercise is better than no exercise at all.

Five minutes today, maybe ten tomorrow, then fifteen and so on and so on.

Every journey starts with one little step. "
