Hi
Looking for some streching tips. I have been strething for a long time now without a lot of success. I have been working on a program with books and even dvds and doing what they say but still can't get more flexible in the legs. I keep hearing that any age can learn to stretch into the splits if they want to yet I can't even get the least bit more flexible after years of stretching. I am quite religious about it and do it almost every night yet miss a night now and then. I know it has be to done every night to keep it going. I just need to be more loose as my age is making me tighter along with sitting too much. I am in my late 30s now which is too old some say. I have seen people get into the full splits within 2 weeks but they are younger. I wonder if for me stretching is helping even though I don't get more flexible ever. I think it may be good just to keep from getting injured. I would love to hear any ideas you all may have. I have really been doing good with the whole stretching program and do it as planned yet don't get results. I have heard there is a point at which your body reacts and then you can't stretch anymore could this be me? I am maybe not relaxing enough? Please help. Posted on 04/24/11, 10:01 pm |

Before you do any streching you need to warm your body ,manny people have problems because they dont warm the body ,waking for 10 minutes or any king of exrecise that will bring your heart rate up is good is we get older it takes more time so give youself 10 minutes after the warm up to get the body ready for you workout good luck
