Typical workout: walking on the treadmill, weight training, doing a class like dancing or martial arts. Shoes start to irritate/blister the skin on the bottoms of my feet if I walk/run too much on the treadmill -- no problem with "real" walking. Tried several types of shoe, all the same problem.
What's the best shoe for this? It has to come in a women's 7-Wide. Posted on 10/18/09, 12:10 am |

No one shoe is good for all feet. You will need to go to a store and try on the brands to find the one with the last that feels good on your foot.
For me, I mostly wear Asics in the gym, no matter if it's for weights or cardio or other activities. I have some Nike for streetwear but their workout shoes don't feel best on my feet. For spinning classes, Specialized brand fits me the best but others have brands like Shumani and others. There really is no shoe good for ALL of your mentioned activities. You could get a solid cross trainer, and just get a gel insert or some other type of athletic footwear support. Depending on the activities you will be doing, you would be wise to consult the specialists who can measure your foot and suggest the best footwear for your needs.
