Im really sick, like My lungs feel half filled with fluid and I cough all the time, my nose is stuffy and my lymphnodes in my throat are swollen. With all of this going on should I work out as I usually would or should I lay off for awhile? I dont really wanna move at all. I just wonder if I lay off now will I ever get back into doing it?

" Keep working out - just not at the intensity or duration as you usually would. Unless you really can't because you are that sick. Otherwise it's really easy to fall off the bandwagon. Plus it may help you feel better faster. Just don't overdo it. "

" You should go to the dr if you feel ill, and not think about working out.

Do you honestly think you will be able to work out well with your feeling as you are? I highly doubt it. What you will be doing is just spreading your germs around the gym, and that is something that should not be done.

Go to the dr to find out the source of your issues and ask if it would be OK to go to the gym. "

" I agree with justblue. If you are that sick, getting well is your top priority. If you are capable of going for short walks, do that. But lay off the intense stuff until you are better. Get well! "
