Please don't judge me only for who I am now.
A person who is sick and doesn't do much.
Please know that I did have a life once.
That I did love living life and had many goals and dreams.
Just like you.

No, it doesn't get easier with time.
The sun continues to rise,
to shine warmly on those who walk

Unaware of the formidable pain that is just

Truth is I didn't really think my poems were worth sharing but maybe they are. I wrote this one in early '07. It is dedicated to Fibromyalgia. Although, it could be written to any disease that has such an extreme effect on our lives.

Some may think I have never been down in the deep, dark pit of despair but I have been there more than once. So, about a year ago I wrote this poem. I have many dark poems and some dark songs I wrote, chorded, played and sung. I have been there.

It was very peaceful there.

One of the most enjoyable day trips I love to take is to grab my digital camera
and go to the zoo. These pictures I took over this past weekend at the
Point Defiance Zoo.
Imagine my surprise when I looked at the photo and saw what I
snapped. I just love this picture.
