Hi All,
I just started taking Omega 3 with Fish, Flax, and Borage and I am also taking Magesium Malate supplements. I was told these help with the Fibro will give it a try and see. Anyone else taking these or other supplements? Marci Posted on 11/06/09, 10:11 am |

The Omega 3-6-9 was life chaniging for me with my Fibro. I began learning all I could about these supplements approx 2 yrs ago & making dietary changes. The Omegas did omething to my skin that was wonderful. It seemed to become thicker, more elastic & supple: like a 20 something's skin. The whites of my eyes became much brighter (same happened for my mother & she's 73!) The best thing, though was the diminishing of the Fibro fog cognitive impairment. My brain just seems to work better.

I take my Omegas...Holy WoW what a Noticeable Change within me !! IF tho you also take a Blood thinner, or Aspirin then consider taking the Omega Supplement about 6-8 hours after ur aspirin...or other meds !! it thins the blood as well...good stuff !! I didn't start taking it for FM...I have PAD...and this supplement has Helped a great deal with That !!

I take 2 of them daily. Since they're the size of footballs, I cut those suckers open, squeeze them out into my Activia, stir it in & gaak it down. Mine are from Jamieson. According to the bottle (written in pint so fine that a gnat would need a telescope to see it) each capsule contains:
332 mg of Omega 3 283 mg of Omega 6 173 mg of Omega 9 They suggest taking 1-3/day but since I'm smaller than the avg adult, I take 2.

Are you also taking calcium with the mag? I thought they worked together. I've just started adding them to my dailys about 2 weeks ago. Next Im adding the omega but flaxseed for me.
I have to wait a few weeks to ensure no counter reactions then I add a new one.

I take magnesium capsules (400 mg) in addition to super multi-vitamins. I take Flaxseed oil and about a tbsn of flaxseeds in food, I am out of Omega 3-6 at this time but ordering soon, actually ordering capsules of Cod Liver Oil to go with the Flaxseed. I take high qualitly Chlorella(green algae) daily. I am soon to also order cal/mag/D to add to the mix. I take glucosamine/chondroitin/hyauralic too. If I had enough money I'd get back on Shaklee probiotics. Fibro can start affecting the heart, a muscle, and magnesium is for muscle health so that is why I take a large dose of it. I developed Sinus Arrythmia a couple years ago and if I am out of mag I have more palpitations and tachycardia. Take that Calcium, Magnesium and those B vitamins people. : )
