Uh, yeah, I know this is a sensitive subject but I also have IBS from the fibro and sex seems to bother me/it...sometimes after,during, the next day 7/or for a few days...anyone else have this problem? don't feel you have to answer...

had a poster on this about 6-10 pages back! "FIBRO SEX" fibro sex might get better response there!

I Used to have pain during sex..my Gyno says "Nothing Wrong"...yet the Pain was there...she thought perhaps it was Me tensing up...I Love Sex...I have never had any issues...no reason to tense up..Once when I went to the chiro he mentioned that my hips were way out of place, and that he was going to check my "Pelvic Floor {?}...been awhile, that may not have been the term}...at any rate he ended up pushing on my tail bone...I felt something give just slightly..OK.
over the next few days I Noticed that the Pain in my "Inside Muscles" had Disappeared...TY GOD !! I was soon back ta "Any which way ya want it",,,with No Discomfort...and when it started happening again I went straight into my chiro...who once again pushed not only on my hips...but on my tail bone.. Just one area to check if you have not yet !!

Ohhh...I Totally read ur Post WRONG...and I cannot even Blame it of Fibro Fog, as I am fairly Clear this day..Sex does not bother my IBS...for some reason I think I mixed up your Post with someone elses...my Apologies.
Are you Stressed about SEX ?? I mean stress can trigger an IBS attack..idk..I feel so dumb for misreading your post, I am gonna step out Now !! Hugs and I Hope ya get some answers !!

or anotherthing maybe that actually you may have a blockage & when you have sex it move everything around & you release what was trapped! i do have chrones & sex always helps me to go better! cause i go back & forth constipation then direeha! so that might be the case w/ you!
my daughter was dx w/ ibs & they finally found out it was a gland behind the gall bladder that was inflammed might want to check that out too! she has less stomach pain & hers always acts up when she gets anxiety too!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Not sure if it's from the IBS or if the "exercise" itself just gets me all over uncomfortable for a couple of days. At least the discomfort is usually from having fun...

I encourage you to get checked out by your OB/GYN and make sure there isn't something else giving you pain with sex. Sex can be a powerful pain reliever with all the endorphins and good feelings and if there is something that can be treated, don't take a chance of missing out on the pleasure, and the connection that comes from intimacy.
