I still have gotten the go ahead on my dog at my apartment. I have a doctors note because I have depression and anxiety and my Psychiatrist has given me a note to get a dog. I have some allergies and would like to get a poodle mix. I like the maltipoos. They are a maltese and a poodle mix. I don't want a tiny teacup one but not one bigger than a large cat. My last cat was 12 pounds. No more than her. I problem is that there are not many breeders around where I live. The pups in NY,Ny are too much and the breeders with farther out seem less expensive. I don't want to get a dog from the airport though. I would like to see where they where raised and how they act. Has to be friendly and cuddly. I live near Rochester Ny. I have money saved up but really don't want to spend more than $500. I know alot you are saying go to pound. I had a dog from the pound when I grew up and she was great but I really want a certain dog and a puppy. I am not sure if I wiil be able to have children so i really want a puppy! I turned 37 yesterday and my boyfirend is helping a friend move and has been gone since Thursday. Not home untill late late Monday. So I am suppose to have a belated birthday but I have been very lonely and wish I had someone to celebrate with this holiday weekend at least. I am looking into warm water therapy so I can get more exercise without hurting. I am not getting enough relieve on meds my doctor changed me over too. I am going to have to call her and see what I can do. The Soma is doing much for my muscle tension. I have been on before and grown tolerant. Maybe this why it is working well. I am depressed. I really wish I had that little dog now. Pray they say yes and I don't have to fight them with this. I could use a hug.

I too love a small dog. I like to cuddle them up and their warm little bodies feel so good to me. i just recently lost my little minpin, she was run over on the road that goes by our house. We live in the country, so I don't tie my pets up. I really felt guilty about her being run over, cuz if I would have put her on a chain, she would still be alive today. So, hon, learn from my mistake, either make sure you have a pen to put your little doggy in, or keep her on a chain. It really hurts when you lose this little addition to your life. Sorry, I don't mean to bring nobody down, just be prepared for the responsibility that goes with owning one of Gods little creatures. Hey there, I just wanted to tell you that you can't go wrong with a maltese, my son bought me one from a breeder in our area and he gave $400 for him but little Ringo was worth every cent and more. I have a husband and 3 daughters at home and I have pain everyday of my life and if it wasn't for Ringo I don't know what I would do. He is my best friend!!! They love you unconditionally, he knows when I'm in pain and when no one else cares he does. But you know every dog is that way. If you love them they will love you right back. I have terrible allergies and asthma and maltese don't shed and hypoallergenic so you can't go wrong. My daughter just got a chocolate lab puppy Bella and she has took up with me too. But that's fine, I need all the love and they know that I love them right back. If you can let me know what happens, and good luck finding one. One thing, when you are looking it seems they find you instead of you finding them. They have that effect!!!!! Take care, and Best wishes, Becky

We have two Maltichon mix of Maltese and Bichon..Maltese for size and temperament Bichon for health and additional characteristics I like dogs and animals in general (Hmmm,,humans..still holding out on that, just kidding, I think.) but I've always had to be a little stand-offish for obvious reasond. We usually rescued some less fortunate and let the 4 kids maul them into some sembelence of seme- trained, both ways, they seemed always to give much more than they cost and we loved them for their forever.
We lost one child to dispecable evil. The others turned into money grubbing miscreants but they are alive have families and homes some morality (off and on) and are ok. But they don't see us much. we got sick then better hurt and then better always less and less able to cope. Then came the puppies!! Wonderful loving cutest things on the planet little balls of white...They saved our lives and our marrige. Nothing has ever been like these now 8 and 9 lb barking, not to often, prancing, smart, loving, wanting to please, playful, did I say loving? wonderful ought to have at least 12 syllables...they are NOT sickly, you do have to feed them right and they LOVE to be bathed and groomed. Just unbelieveable little dogs (somtimes noisey when they play) Love 'em non allergenic, on and on and on and on get one..or two

I have a little toy poodle who is the light of my life! I had a full hysterectomy at 33 and therefore can not have children, but I do have a child - my baby boy poodle "Sully"! I had a little girl Maltese named Issa who was in my life just short of 15 years. She died on July 1st and it was crushing. Maltese are wonderful little dogs. Did you know that they used to believe they had healing powers? I believe they truly do, well my little Issa did for me. My toy poodle is 12lbs and is so snugly and always wants to be by my side. Issa, my maltese, was little - only 5.5 lbs. I think the two breeds would make up a wonderful dog. I never heard of maltipoos. Let us know if you get one, please!!

I HAVE A LITTLE CHIHUAHUA/PUG MIX AND SHE HAS LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE. I WENT THROUGH 8 MONTHS OF DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY ALONG WITH MY CHRONIC PAIN AND FIBRO BUT I KNEW I HAD TO GET UP AND TAKE HER OUT TO GO TO THE BATHROOM AND GET SOME EXERCISE. I WAS VERY SUICIDAL BUT COULDN'T EVEN GO THAT ROUTE BECAUSE MY DOG ANNY MEANT TO MUCH TO ME AND I WOULD NEVER LEAVE HER ALONE WITHOUT HER MOMMY. EVERYONE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A CAT OR A DOG THAT WILL TREAT THEM WITH LOTS OF LOVE.

had a cockapoo i loved =toke him everywhere even in back pack on mororcycle sctraped againt me=he loved!
he died after 17yrs had sheltir was really smart but hyper! & same w/ minature pincher now i have a biggy"HONEY" germanshepherd/rot weller she is so good know everyword i say never bark in house unless thereissomething really not right outside or in the house! knows what shaaa..... mean whispering it! i just have to pick up her chain & she come to get chained up! very good in house goes & lays on her large pillowon floor! but when were gone i know she sleeps on coach & beds! also got small cat & he travels w/ me in a back pack=i take him in sores & everywhere i go!"VITO" hope yp find a pet soon they really do help w/ pain! even a fish tank great soothing to watch them & eay care! healing prayers & angels to watch & guide you! oxo paula
