Merry Christmas to all.
I took my daughter to health dept, caught a cold somewhere between there and walmart, felt miserable last week just have the runny nose and cough now. I got the SS denial, amzing they know more about me than I do on what I can and cant do, would love to meet the person behind the desk that makes these final decision's. I know about everyone gets denied the first time, it's the matter of fact letter you receive going the long way around telling you your health issues are not serious enough. Still deciding whether to continue or try to return to work with limited abilities. I miss my friend's at work, and the pay was not excellent but better than what I would make in the S.S. version of what I could do, I dont have an education that would provide a nice easy job, so that leaves Mcdonald's, or similar, and the economy is terrible here, so who knows, I know God will decide what is best for me.

" Hi, we haven't met, I just joined. I am sorry you are ill, and hope you feel better very soon. I mean the "bug", but I am also sorry that we share FM. And that your SS was turned down. My advice would be to get a lawyer, before you make any decision. By law, you do not have to pay anything for an attorney until you win your case, and then he/she will get a payment from the back pay you will get from SS. The amount is set by law, a certain percentage, or a flat amount, which ever is less. I really don't think you should go back to work without seeking legal advice, if you do, and find out that you can not do even limited work, it could set you back and take even longer. Hang in there, get legal advice, and then make the decision. I am sure you will make the right one. Blessings, and feel better! "

" If you work they will deny you again, I know. 5 years this month since I first applied. I would get an attorney soon who will put your case in for hearing and advise you about working. Take care. : )

" Hi, I'm sorry about your denial at SS. And also that you have been having problems with a cold. Hope you feel better soon. If you feel you are going to continue with your ss case know that you are limited in days for a appeal. If you stop now and decide to apply again at a later date (past a appeals date) you would lose any back pay and have to start over again. If you do not have a attorney maybe it would be better to talk to a disability attorney and see what they feel about your case. I was awarded my disability in Jan. took 3 years from the date of the first denial. For some this has been faster depends on how backed up they are in your area. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide to do.

Take care Gentle hugs and Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. "
