I just checked my tv's listings and it says: "Dr. Oz explains how a retrovirus causes exhaustion; yeast infections; dangerous fashions.

We'll see. I don't have a lot of faith in this guy. His show is like, pop medicine, full of sound bites, like Entertainment Tonight.

Well it'd be good exposure if it's correct information and not just some stuff about how it's in our heads or if we just stopped one thing it'd be cured etc.

I agree with Mary - it will be good exposure if the information is accurate and if he takes the time to actually explain anything rather than offering quick solutions.

I like Dr Oz but when you get into this kind of televised format its' like the cop shows where every case has to be wrapped up in an hour, and he doesn't spend a whole hour on anything, he has several topics on each show.

You can't scratch the surface of fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue in an hour, let alone a portion of an hour. Still, it will be interesting to hear what he says.

So, I'm going to watch it, but dangit, if he does another "Oh look, bad illness! Oh but look - SEX!" I am never going to trust him again...grr....

I saw Dr. Oz talk about fibro. on Oprah. Was so disappointed when he basically said "diet, exercise and vit. D will cure it." 6 million of us out there wish that it was that easy. I will watch the show to see if he now has something different to say.

Just remember when you get ready to watch that it will only be for a few minutes and it is about the virus they believe causes CFS not FM. FM is still the stepchild. I doubt FM will even be mentioned.
