Don't know what Day it is

My days are running into each other so much that I never know what day it is anymore. When I was able to drive, we always went to visit my mom on Sundays. Now, that she came and got us yesterday and we spent the day with her for Thanksgiving, I feel like today is Monday. I can't get it out of my head. My daughter with TM has an appointment on Wed. Dec. 2 to talk about having nose surgery to clear her airways since the sprays and rinses etc... didn't help and she is all swollen inside. After that, we need to get her to x-ray for an EKG of her heart because she is having pain and pressure and rapid heart beats off and on all the time.

Anyway, because I can't get it through my head that it's not Monday, I keep thinking my daughter and I need to stay calm and not do anything because in 2 days we have to be at our best. We are both spent from yesterday.

Does this happen to any of you? Or am I actually going crazy from the drugs I refuse to take...(sigh)

I guess I should let you know that this isn't like me. I always knew what day it was and never had such strong feelings about it being a certain day - when it wasn't. It's starting to freak me out.

" Of course it's not crazy. This happens around a holiday that changes routine. It's normal. It might be a little intense....? But you are dealing with some intense issues.

However staying calm and not doing anything sounds perfectly healthy and reasonable - you may need to recover from yesterday. I do!

If you want, we can remind you on here when it's Tuesday and that the appointment is the next day - it does sound important. If you can take it easy until then, why not? :)

Prayers and hugs for you and your daughters. "

" No, not crazy at all. last night I wanted to set my alarm for work.....uh, had today off, it's not Monday.

My daughter (occupational therapist) always suggests people put on the weather channel first thing in the a.m.m, gives you the day and date. "

" It is crazymaking for us when this happens ! Thank goodness I have a cellphone that tells me what the day/date is. So does my computer. Sometimes when I wake I'm confused if it's am or pm. My cellphone answers that 2 thank goodness. I also loose track of days. Fibro related I believe. I've all the things I've lost.......I miss my mind the most !! LOL ! "

" I often find myself lost and not knowing what day it is. This is happening a lot more frequently than I would like to admit. It's kind of scary.

I've been feeling sick lately on top of pain and I've been sleeping a lot. Sometimes when I wake up I feel confused and don't know where I am. "

" I'm not used to this. I have told God a few times that he could take anything from me but please not my mind. I love to learn and now I can't even pick up a magazine because I don't feel like I could enjoy it. As for learning new stuff - right now my mind says - what's the point? "

" I get distracted easier now days too especially when getting off the routine type things. I don't think that is odd to happen. I have a calendar on my desktop that circles the date and also the clock for the time. Automatically changes from month to month.

take care gentle hugs "

" I hear that! I NEVER know what day it is,, it sucks. The trash is on the curb two days early, I'm constantly checking and rechecking the calendar to try not to miss appointments and have almost never returned a phone call within a respectable amount of proper time. Sometimes it's weeks before I remember the phone call even happened. I've actually had people tell me they do not like what I've become,, a rude person I guess they mean. I tell them, I don't like who I've become either but there is nothing I can do about it. "

" Yeah, when I want to know the date, I check the calendar on my computer. It highlights today and has my schedule. I usually check it every morning and throughout the day. Sometimes I get confused.

It takes me a day or two to prepare for a doctor's visit and a few other things. "
