Went off without a hitch !!
YeaY !! Turkey was Tender & juicy...I made the Works for the guys, plus my Daughter & Deans parents were here.. I Refused to allow ANYONE to Lift a Finger to Help me... Deans Mom is going thru a Severe Cycle of Fatigue {WE UNDERSTAND THAT DON'T WE !!} So when she thought she was going to help do Anything, I walked her right back to the table, and Told her she is Best to help me by Chatting it up with me...same with my Daughter..None of the Guys Offered...{LOL !! Imagine THAT !!} But what an Awesome day !! Everyone was here by 6.. I had Music playing...Mannheimsteamrollers {Christmas Music, BEAUTIFUL} Candles all lit.. Salads, Rolls Pastries all lined the Kitchen island.. Everyone was Like WOW !! I did NOT Honestly believe enough in myself {anymore} to Pull it all off...but I did.. Plus I got my house Super scrubbed...even went over the windows... Sorry...It has just been SO Long since I have managed anything like this on my own...as I am thinking thru it all...I still Cannot believe I Managed it all...and Feel Fine. my 24 Pound Turkey was the perfect Size...we have prolly enuff left over for one large pot pie...or one pot of soup...so ALL tha Razzin I took about buying such a HUGE Turkey just kinda fell Silent..LMAO !! And Trust me...the Guys were Seriously Givin me shit...Plus I peeled 30 Potatos...Deans Mom was Like HOLY Girl !! There are Only gonna Bee 10 of us...Yea...but outa the 10 I Know at least 4 of them can Seriously Eat...yea, very SMALL bowl left over.. I would say I gaged it pretty well !! OK...Done Patting myself on the back now...sorry..I am Just Feeling pretty good about Self, and that is rare anymore...and wanted to Share my Good stuff, since Usually it is Bad stuff I give ya all !! Pat pat pat (thats me patting you on the back) dont you just love it when a get together goes over without a hitch! I cannot believe 10 people ate dang near a 24 lb turkey!!! I am so happy to hear that you are doing so well after the dinner. Give yourself some pampering today. Job well done!

woot dont appologise for patting your self on the back. SOunds like you deserved it :P Im glad that as of yet you ahve not hit the wall with the fibro... here is to praying that it stays that way. Did you le them help with clean up or did you do that on your own too????
Im so proud of you it gives me hope that I can get overthis flair and get my room clean for my hubbies visit nd make the dishes I plan to make ;p

Nope...No Wall Hitting...Trust me, I am "WALL Sensitive" I can Feel that sucker when I get to Close...I was Exhausted to say the least...like 10 hard Deep yawns in a row...Dean laughed and said "Go to Bed for Petes Sakes " !! but I Felt OK, actually Felt like "Normal Exhaustion" for a Change..
I Cleared and stacked the Dishes...made all the talky ones sit at the table and Chat it up...I got them done this morning..I didn't want anyone doing them last night..all the Smokers went out the garage...I Took a Heavy scented Candle out there...to Keep that Scent in check.. Deans Mom had not been able to access the caringbridge site in over a week on her Putor...she she asked if she could use mine...well Tyea !! Jerry {Deans brother} is TRYING to get OUT of BED !! For Real !! they can NO Longer Leave him alone...he is eating full meals...He is Doing REALLY Well down there at Craig...Reading that last night after everyone Left was Like the Topper for the Evening...
