I am now 33 weeks pregnant. I have anoughter 6 weeks (wow time is sure flying ;p) But for a week now I have slowly felt a flair coming on. I havenoticed my meds just arent working like they should and the bath doesnt seem to help any.

I know that my preganc probally has a lot to do with the flair coming on as I am lugging around a belly that is throwing off my balance. Even thought I hav e lost 40 pounds and Im not carrying new weight Im still not balanced.

My legs are killing me. I cant be to active cause I cant breath well. I cant take too much more medication because of the baby. Im already giving her more then I would like. I am at a loss as to what to do. I cant afford to go get a massage and I would love to see a chiropractor but again cant afford it...

ANy ideas???

" Gently stretching every muscle I could stretch during pregnancy seemed to help some with stiffness. A warm shower and the types of breathing that you do with yoga also seemed to relieve some of my pain. I hope you feel better sweety and congrats on the baby! "

" Yoga or pilates. Unduki says Boswellia, although I have never tried it. I'm sure you would need to talk to your Dr. to make sure it's approved for the baby. But maybe it's worth a try and will take you off the chemical meds. you are now taking. "

" You probably have myofascial pain as do most fibro patients so check out triggerpointbook.com.

Myofascial pain is where the muscles get knots in them that refer pain elsewhere. The knots, known as trigger points need to be broken up for the pain to subside. Fortunately, it's relatively easy to learn to do it on yourself thus relieving a lot of your pain.

I remember how salty food always made me feel better when I was going into a flare as my blood pressure would drop. Later I realized it was because I have adrenal problems and the salt stimulated my adrenals. Now I drink salt water on a daily basis which really helps me feel better. "

" When you are in bed, or on the couch, use some pillows, blankets or towels that can be rolled, to make yourself more cs way comfortable. This might help relieve a few of those pressure points. Also how about a hot water bottle? moist heat is really good for you. "
