To me Savella is the drug from hell. Because of the unknown drug reaction between Trazodone and Savella I now have "Serotonin Syndrome" which is basically DRUG POISONING' I am slowing being weaned off Savella. I have been extremely ill over the past 10 days and I hope to stop all of this medication. Drug companies give fibromyalgia sufferers false hope and claimed that there should not have been a reaction between Trazodone and Savella. Everytime I see an add for medication to help Fibromyalgia sufferers I could just puke!!!!

I tried Savella also. I had a really fast heart beat, increase in blood presure, and head aches from hell! The head aches were the worst. When I would stand and then "attempt to walk", I felt as if the top half of my head was going to explode. With this also came the "almost" wall huggin', I'm gonna pass out deal. I did find that my pain level had all but gone away. My doc took me off it cold turkey after having only taking the 25 mgs for the duration of it. Then was to go upto 50 mgs, can't even imagine what that would have been like!!! I did call about a month later and asked if I could start it again, only cutting the first dosage to 7.5 mgs. I got the same side effects from that as well and had to stop it completly after that. She wanted give me Lyrica, I declined that offer after reading all the posts on here about the side effects of that nightmare. I want to scream when those fibro commercials come on tv too. Those actors have no clue what we go through!!!
