Hi guys...it's been a little while since I have been on here. I wanted to share some experiences I have been having the past few weeks. Was just wondering if this rings any bell for any of you...

I have been having alot of leg pain (muscles) and alot of hip joint pain mostly on the right side. Also....I have alot of nagging pain behind my knees! Have any of you experienced this? Sometimes I will only hurt from the waist down, but most of my pain right now is in my right hip, both knees ache, and BAD pain behind my knees ( in back of my legs). Just wanted to see if I'm the only sufferer of this! Thanks in advance
BIG HUGS TO MY FIBRO FRIENDS!

" I have all these pains too, innerdial and
bubblebaby, but then I was dx'd with rheumatoid arthritis a few months ago, so ...
I never know which is hurting, whether it be
fibro or RA -- just knows 'it hurts'.

Best of luck trying to figure it out.

Hugs! "

" my torso areas and spine hurt worse than anywhere else. I'm waiting for a new rheumy to start her practice and then be checked for Ankylosing Spondylitis (fusing of the joints). I also tested positive for Post Strep Negative Arthritis (meaning my RH Factor test came out negative). There a physical test your doc can do called the Patrick's test. So even if you tested negative for Rheumatoid Arthritis, you can still be positive for arthritis.

What kind of a bed do you have? I have a pillow top, microfleece one, with a comforter underneath my microfleece sheets. I also have a ortho cushion on my living room chair, a memory foam cushion for my office chair and a memory foam pillow for my bed.

You may want to try Celebrex or Voltaren for the short term. They are quite dangerous for your stomach but they do work most of the time. If you don't want to try the RX, you can maybe try Voltaren emugel or Gardener's Dream Cream along with massage. "

" I've had pain in my legs since I was in high school and it ALL turned out to be myofascial pain. If you aren't familiar with it, it's where the muscles get knots in them that refer pain elsewhere. The knots, known as trigger points have to be broken up for the pain to subside. Fortunately, it's relatively easy to do trigger point massage on yourself with a bit of time, effort and the willingness to endure a bit of pain while massaging out the trigger points.

A wonderfully helpful book is the one featured at triggerpointbook.com. This book changed my life enabling me to go from being is pain 24/7 to being relatively pain-free about 90% of the time. If you can afford it, it's well worth the $20 or so.

For pain behind the knee that feels like a burning sensation, there are about 3 trigger points in the back of the knee and upper calf muscles that cause it. Massage the area, especially any spots that are extremely painful and hopefully you can get it broken up. "

" Your pain is exactly like mine. A deep pain in the right hip that travels down towards the knee, mine keeps me awake at night and I cannot walk very far or fast. I don't get the pain behind the knees but in the knee joints itself...they click when I walk!!

" I used to have pain only in my back, and neck, now I too have pain in my legs, hip and left foot. It is so annoying, hard to sleep. I think that it is a good idea to check out trigger massage, I am going to do that today too. It is horrible, I can TRULY relate- I hope that you feel better! "

" First things First...go in, have them do an ABI tests on you...real simple test...basically BP & pulse tests in your legs..make sure you have good Blood flow..

I have had Real severe Legs pains..as Deep as the Bones...around joints...all the way up to my skin...

Burning Muscles...nerves on Fire..

the very Best things you can Do for your legs...is stretch them everyday..massage them often...best if done by an Experienced Theraputic Massage Therapist at least every 2 weeks til the Pain backs off some..and WALK...get the Blood pumping strong thru them...get the Lymphatic system working real good...

If it is Muscular pain then use a bit of Heat to help relax the Muscles...I walk around in a Heated Pool...WoW that makes my legs Feel Fantastic !! if there is some Nerve Pain...apply some Cool cloths right to the spot...kinda lightly Massage the area..

Can you Tolerate Ibuprophen ? I don't take it very Often...just when the Pain levels start to rise..

Hope ya Get ta feeling better Soon !! "

" I've been getting leg cramping for months now. I just got back again to the exercise place CURVES. I always have loved it but now my right hip hurts so much when I walk, when I get up after sitting. I don't know if it is a coincidence or if it is the FMS. My hip hurts just to the touch on the outside of my leg and very deep inside. I think it could also be osterarthritis as well. What a pain. Thanks for sharing. At least I'm not going nuts. "
