Pat on the back

Well I need to give my self a pat on the back....

We moved into this apt that we are in in like march of this year. Most of our stuff is in storage and while my daughter had a few boxes of her toys I didnt get out most of them. Shortly after moving into this apartment I got pregnant and well its been down hill from there. SHe had some toys just not many and not most of her 'fun stuff' She managed to keep her self enteratained so while I felt bad about it I didnt stress to much about it.

The other reason I didnt get out her toys was because what few toys she did have I had to take away because she refused to clean them up. Her room was HORRID. ANd I just dont have it in me to clean her room or help her clean her room everyday. Well after we tried to give back some toys she went back to refusing to clean and actually told me to take them away... that was nearly 6 months ago.

Time for the pat on the back....

TOnight I asked her if she was ready to get her toys back. I have been feeling really bad because you can tell she is bored and could really enjoy her toys. She of cource was anxious to get them back. So together we went in her room and cleaned it up... how it was a disaster with out toys I havent a clue... well she helped with out a single complaint. and now I got out the 3 boxes of toys she has and her doll house she got for christmas.... She is soooooo happy. She keeps coming to me ad telling me about how she missed this or that and how special it is lol...

I reminded her that she has to keep them picked up. THat both of us (me included) need to get better about messes and asked if she would help me clean my room next. She thought a minute and said... How bout monday? I giggled it was cute.

Now the pat on the back s because I actually got off my butt and adressed an issue I have been avoiding. Despite the fact that I could hardly breath the whole time I was in ther eand Im still trying to get my breath back. Despite the fact that IM actually in the midst of a fibro flare... It was hard working around the belly to bend over and pick stuff up but together we managed ;p

What do you deserve a pat on the back for???
