Anyone taking Folic Acid?

Hi just wondering if anyone is taking Folic Acid in the group? I was just given it by my dr and I was also told I have arensic in my system, something called enviromental arensic that can apparently from the water, soil,dust and certain foods we eat. Has anyone been tested for this I read it causes same problems as fibro. just something to share....thanks all

I take a prescription does of Folic Acid, my doc said it helps ward off the side effects of the Methotrexte I take. I have not heard of anyone having environmental arensic in their system, but in reality, it would make sence. Did your doc discuss how to rid your body of it?

I take it too! The Dr. never mentioned finding any arsenic in my system, but I do inject Enbrel weekly for my AS. The thing I noticed from it is that my hair & my fingernails began growing like crabgrass! This was wonderful bec in Feb 08, I tried Lyrica for my FM 7 it began making my long hair fall out in clumps. I had to chop my hair into an unflattering short bob with bangs (NOT a good cut for my face). By Feb 10, it'll be back the way it was at this rate.

I take it periodically when I remember. I alternate various supplements so my body doesn't get immune to them.

I was told to take it after having a seizure. I took it for a year. Have no idea what it was for.
